I kind of gave up on doing Glitter and Gold Jem for WeLoveFine’s Jem contest, mainly because it was taking me longer than I would have liked it to, and I was starting to get discouraged.  So I decided to Jem and the Holograms a 80’s video game feel to them! I labeled my submission “8 Bit Holograms” or “Holograms in 8 Bits”, and I think that may be incorrect due to the amount of colors used (about 24), but what ever. Also, as for my Glitter and Gold illustration, I haven’t scraped it completely. I plan on finishing it and posting it here when I am done. Currently I am cell shading it in Illustrator. I may or may not decide do do it more airbrushed looking in Photoshop, but haven’t  decided on that yet.
